Vintage Over Dyed and Mended Wool Throw - Blue

Wool blankets are meant to be used and reused, they last a life time. I hand dyed this one of a kind throw so the colour is uneven and modelled. The yarn I used to visibly mend the throw was my grandmothers so  probably about 50 or 60 years old and a lovely bright green. I fringed the two long sides of the throw.
