Vintage G & S Ring

Vintage hand made biker ring with native inspired wolf howling at the moon and insignia on either side. 

The G& S company operated between the years 1972 and 2000. They were called Biker rings, but this particular ring design is more versatile and wearable by men and women. They used the lost wax method to cast the rings.  A master cast was created and then wax molds made from the master. The metal is poured into the wax cast and that specific wax cast is lost/destroyed in the process.

A few of the earlier rings in the 1970’s were made of sterling silver. After the early 70’s, the rings were made with pewter, brass or other metals and then silver plated.  

CLEANING: This ring is plated and therefore recommended to clean with non acid based cleaner so you don't damage the finish.  Buff witha soft flannel cloth or silver polish cloth.

 Size 9 1/2  - marked as size 9 but fits more like a 9 1/2 measured
